La Casa's Reopening
The new ownership of La Casa (La Casa Founders Holding Company, a 501.c3) partnered with Resilience Institute Foundation in February of 2022 in order to revitalize the building and bring it to functioning dignity after decades of use.
Resilience (a volunteer based organization) took on the tasks of revitalizing
all of the spaces of La Casa,
Bringing areas of La Casa back to life,
Preserving the rich history within it for community-wide education purposes,
and reopening the building to pave the way for
welcoming a future leadership to man the helm and continue its legacy for decades to come.
This, for the sole purpose of helping reopen and restore the space for the community.
